Terms of Use
Last updated 11 October 2026
These Terms govern your access to Journiez.com and its event, account, group, discussion, subscription, and referral features. By using the site, you agree to these Terms and the linked Privacy & Data Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
What Journiez provides
Journiez provides an online platform for discovering events and communities and connecting attendees with event organizers. Unless an event listing identifies Journiez as the organizer, the organizer—not Journiez—plans and delivers that event. Organizers are responsible for their event details, venue, safety, permits, capacity, attendee support, and any event cancellation or refund obligations.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. Accounts are for people aged 18 or older. A parent or legal guardian must manage a minor’s participation and comply with the event’s age requirements. You may not impersonate another person, create duplicate accounts to evade restrictions, or use the site unlawfully.
Subscriptions and payments
Publishing events as an organizer and registering for events as an attendee require the applicable active plan or Founding Pass shown on the Plans page. Profiles are private by default. If you opt in to discovery, eligible subscribers or pass holders can find your basic member profile; follow requests and chat require your acceptance. Never use Journiez messages to harass, threaten, solicit, or share another person’s private details. Current plan prices and terms are shown at checkout. Journiez subscriptions are processed through Razorpay. Event payments are made directly to organizers using the payment instructions displayed for that event; Journiez does not hold those funds. See the separate Subscription & Payments Policy and Event Cancellations & Refunds Policy.
Your content and conduct
You remain responsible for content you post. You give Journiez permission to host, display, format, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service. You must have rights to anything you upload. Do not post unlawful, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, fraudulent, privacy-invasive, or infringing content; spam; or content that exposes another person’s sensitive information.
Moderation and service changes
We may review reports and restrict, remove, or disable content or accounts where reasonably needed to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or keep the service secure. We may change or discontinue features. Where required, we will provide notice or preserve your rights under applicable law.
Disclaimers and liability
Event details are supplied by organizers. Journiez does not guarantee an organizer’s event, payment instructions, or conduct. To the extent permitted by law, Journiez is not liable for an organizer’s independent acts, omissions, systems, or event delivery. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits Journiez’s duties for services and data under its control.
