What is Journiez?
Journiez helps people discover events and communities across India. Attendees can find experiences, register, and connect with organizers. Organizers can publish events, manage registrations, and build an audience.
Can I browse events without paying?
Yes. Public event details are free to browse. To register, pay an organizer, or join event discussions as an attendee, you need a verified attendee account with an active attendee subscription or Founding Pass. Organizers need an active organizer subscription or Founding Pass to publish events.
Which account should I create?
Create an attendee account if you want to discover and register for events. Create an organizer account if you want to list and manage events. Sign in from Attendee sign in or Organizer sign in. Each account type has its own workspace and plan.
What do plans cost?
The current plans are shown on the Plans page and again before checkout. Prices and billing terms shown at checkout are the final source. If a Founding Pass offer is available, its eligibility and remaining availability are shown there too.
Does a subscription renew automatically?
Review the billing interval and renewal terms shown at checkout before authorizing a subscription. You can cancel future renewal from your dashboard at any time. Cancellation and access dates are shown in the subscription section of your account.
How do I verify my account?
Follow the verification link or instructions sent to the email address you used to register. Check spam or promotions folders if it does not appear. You can request a fresh verification email from the verification or sign-in flow. Do not share your password or verification code.
How do I find an event?
Open Explore events and narrow the listings by activity, city, date, or search term. Open an event to check its schedule, venue or online format, organizer, availability, price, ticket options, age requirements, and cancellation terms before registering.
Can I save an event for later?
Sign in and use the save or wishlist control on an event. Your saved events are collected in Wishlist, so you can return to them later.
How do I register as an attendee?
Sign in with a verified attendee account and make sure your attendee plan or Founding Pass is active. Choose the available ticket option and quantity on the event page, then follow the registration steps. Your registration appears in My registrations.
How do I pay for an event?
Event payments go directly to the organizer using the UPI or other payment instructions shown on the event page. After paying, enter the requested transaction reference (UTR) so the organizer can verify it. Journiez does not collect or hold ticket payments. Never share a UPI PIN, banking password, card security code, or payment OTP.
Why is my registration pending?
Paid registrations wait for the organizer to check the submitted payment reference. You will see the status in My registrations and may receive a Journiez notification when the organizer confirms or rejects it. If it remains pending, contact the organizer using the details on the event page.
How do event cancellations and refunds work?
Read the event’s cancellation terms before paying. If you need to cancel your attendance, contact the organizer promptly; the organizer handles refunds for event payments sent directly to them. If an organizer cancels the event, check the refund status in My registrations and contact the organizer about the return of funds. See the Event Cancellations & Refunds policy.
How do I cancel or restart my Journiez subscription?
You can cancel from the subscription section of your attendee or organizer dashboard. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access normally continues through the paid period shown in your dashboard. A cancelled subscription cannot be reactivated. After the current access period ends, use the matching plan on the Plans page to start a new subscription. A cancellation before the billing cycle begins may take effect immediately.
How do I publish an event?
With a verified organizer account and an active organizer plan or Founding Pass, complete your organizer workspace and open List an event. Add accurate event details, capacity, schedule, ticket prices, and cancellation terms. Paid registrations also require an active payment profile with a UPI ID and matching payee name.
How does an organizer confirm a registration?
Open the Registrations section of the Organizer dashboard. Check the attendee’s ticket details and submitted transaction reference, then confirm or reject the registration. Keep event details and payment instructions accurate, and respond to attendee questions promptly.
Can I create or join groups?
Yes. Browse Groups by interest, join communities, and use a group’s discussions and events when available to its members. Organizers can create groups to give their community a place to stay connected between events.
What are profile discovery, follow requests, and chat?
Members can choose whether their basic profile is discoverable. Eligible subscribers and Founding Pass holders can request to follow or chat with other members; follow requests are accepted by the recipient. Profile and sharing choices are managed in your account. See the Privacy & Data Notice.
Can attendees review an event?
Confirmed attendees can rate and comment on an event after it ends. Ratings are unavailable for cancelled events. Organizer profiles can show the ratings received across their events.
How do referrals and payouts work?
Eligible subscribers and active Founding Pass holders can earn 9% of the amount Razorpay actually captures for eligible referred subscriptions and renewals. Only captured INR subscription payments qualify; signup, a Founding Pass, or an event payment does not earn commission. Canceling or allowing your subscription to expire does not forfeit commission already earned: you can still request payout after cancellation when your available balance is at least ₹200 and your account has a verified email, valid UPI ID, and enabled RazorpayX payouts. Allow 7–10 working days for payout completion. Automated RazorpayX payouts may arrive sooner; exact credit timing depends on RazorpayX and the recipient bank. Requests are scheduled after a 12-hour hold, with automated submission targeted within 48 hours. Journiez marks the payout paid only after RazorpayX confirms its processed status. Full rules are in Referral & Payout Terms.
