Organizer Terms

These terms apply when you create an organizer account, publish an event or group, manage registrations, or communicate with attendees through Journiez.

Organizer responsibilities

• Provide accurate event, organizer, venue, schedule, capacity, age, accessibility, price, and payment information, and update it promptly if anything changes.
• Obtain any permissions, venue approvals, licences, insurance, and safety arrangements required for your event.
• Deliver the event as described, manage attendee questions, and notify attendees promptly of changes or cancellation.
• State your cancellation and refund terms before accepting payment and handle refunds you owe under those terms and applicable law.
• Use an account and contact details you are authorized to provide and keep your organizer profile and payment instructions current.

Payments and fees

Attendees pay event charges directly to the organizer using the event’s stated payment instructions. You are responsible for checking the transaction reference, confirming or rejecting registrations promptly, and addressing payment disputes. Journiez subscription fees are separate and are shown on the Plans page and at checkout.

Attendee information

Use attendee data only to administer the event, verify registration, provide event updates, and meet legal requirements. Do not sell it, add attendees to unrelated marketing lists, disclose it publicly, or retain it longer than needed. Protect any information you receive, limit access to people who need it, and promptly report suspected misuse or exposure to connect@journiez.com.

Content, reports and enforcement

You must have permission to publish event names, images, logos, and other materials. Do not publish false, unsafe, discriminatory, fraudulent, or unlawful listings. Journiez may hide, restrict, or remove a listing or account after review of reports or where required by law. This does not make Journiez the event organizer.
